Nationals
- Original and copy of personal identity card (valid, without deterioration in the plastic and seal, with readable data and photograph).
- In case of loss of the identity card, you can present the identity card application from the Electoral Tribunal with the seal and signature of the official.

• Original passport according to the nationality described on the migration card.
• Report of lost license by the Public Ministry, only in case of loss or theft of more than B/.250.00.
• Complete the lost license form and sworn declaration at the branch.

Important:
• From 85 years old, the person must take a driving test according to the category(s) of their driver’s license, so the duplicate must be done at a branch where the practical test is conducted. The vehicle used for validation must be in good condition with a valid plate (valid decal and sticker).
• To request a duplicate for theft, loss, or robbery, you must access: www.licencia.com.pa.
• The duplicate request has a 72-hour verification period (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) to verify minor violations with the A.T.T.T.
• If requesting a duplicate due to corrections, name changes, document number changes, or updates in identity documents, the person must submit the driver’s license without an appointment at the branch. Changes will be made upon validation with supporting documents.
• If you have an active payment arrangement, the validity of the license will depend on the clause established with the A.T.T.T.
• Payment must be made at the branch where the procedure is finalized:
- Payments can be made in cash, credit or debit card at the A.T.T.T. counters within Sertracen branches. Also through online banking or ATM.
If the procedure is done online, payment must be made with a VISA / Mastercard credit card or through ATM or online banking. If you select Delivery, payment must be made with a credit card.
• Names, surnames, and document number must match or be the same in all submitted documents. If there are discrepancies, supporting documents will be requested to verify identity.
• All documents must be valid, in good condition, without deterioration, with readable data and photo, except for the passport for foreigners, which must be presented as the original according to the nationality described in the migration card.
• The validity of the driver’s license will be the same as the validity of the previous license issued.
• Issuance of the driver’s license is subject to compliance with traffic regulations and that all requirements are valid at the time of document printing.
• You must not have accumulated more than 50 points on your driving history at the time of requesting the procedure. (Requirement by Law 146 of April 15, 2020, effective from May 15, 2020).
• Foreigners with limited migration status can only apply for categories A, B, and C.
• Foreigners with a new document number: To apply for a driver’s license after a change of identity document (passport to passport, passport to ID card, ID card to passport, or ID card to ID card), records must be updated to the new number: - Vehicle registration (vehicles must be updated).
- Minor violations (must be paid, and payment arrangements updated to the new number).
- Weight and dimensions (all procedures related to vehicles must be completed).
- Traffic courts (restrictions and police reports must be resolved or updated to the new number)
